I received my B.S. from Davidson College and obtained a Masters in Psychology from Wake Forest University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Minnesota. I completed my clinical internship at University of Washington Medical Centers. At the Gestalt Institute of Seattle, I graduated from a three-year training program and taught on the faculty for six years. I served as a lecturer and senior lecturer in the Psychology department at University of Washington where I am currently a Clinical Instructor, providing supervision for graduate students. I served as a volunteer speaker, board member and board president for Eating Disorders Northwest, a non-profit organization dedicated to education, prevention, and treatment of eating disorders.
